Foundational Paper Piecing

One of my favourite quilting techniques is foundational paper piecing! It is the perfect way to create precise, creative and add uniqueness to a quilt. The technique involves literally sewing fabric to paper, piece by piece, then tearing away the paper before adding the block to your quilt or project.

Even if you are a beginner quilter, paper piecing can be learned quickly. There are so many free patterns and tutorials on the internet to give it a try.
